YouTube integration

Your channel, managed with your approval.

HOI Social Media Hub uses YouTube API Services. You connect your own channel with Google sign-in; everything the app does happens on that channel, only after a person in your workspace approves it, and you can revoke access at any time.

How it works

Four steps, and a person approves every action that reaches YouTube.

1
Connect
You sign in with Google and pick the channel. Google shows the permissions below; you approve. We store encrypted tokens — never your password.
2
Publish
A team member drafts a Short (video + title), a person approves it, and it uploads to your own channel at the scheduled time.
3
Engage
Comments on your videos arrive in the inbox with AI reply suggestions. A person edits and sends; nothing is posted automatically.
4
Measure
Views, likes and comments feed the Growth & ROI page (with a YouTube tab); viewer demographics feed the Audience page.

Permissions, one by one

Each row is one permission on Google's consent screen — what it is for, and what we never do with it.

View your YouTube account
youtube.readonly
Read your channel, its videos and their statistics so reports and expected-vs-got comparisons are real.
Reading anyone else's private data.
Manage your YouTube videos
youtube.upload
Upload the Shorts your team approves, on your schedule, to your own channel.
Uploading anything unapproved. Deleting videos.
See, edit, and permanently delete your videos, ratings, comments and captions
youtube.force-ssl
Read comments on your videos and post the replies you approve — Google bundles comment reading and writing into this one broadly-worded permission.
Deleting videos, changing ratings, editing captions, replying without a human action.
View your YouTube Analytics reports
yt-analytics.readonly
Show your viewers' age group, gender and country on the Audience page.
Profiling individual viewers — data is aggregate only.

Your data and your control

Stored
Channel identity and encrypted tokens; your videos' titles, thumbnails and statistics; comments on your videos and replies sent through the app; aggregate viewer demographics. Visible only inside your workspace.
Refreshed, then deleted
Data is refreshed automatically while the channel is connected (nothing stored is older than 30 days). Disconnect the channel and its tokens plus everything imported from YouTube are deleted immediately.
Revoke any time
From the app (Connect Accounts → channel → Disconnect) or at Google directly. Revoking at Google stops access instantly.
By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Manage or remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Full policy detail: How we use YouTube data
